We are the only youth wheelchair basketball team in the state of Mississippi that competes in the National Wheelchair Basketball League!
We started with 5 young people living with a lower limb disability, in the fall of 2013 to make up a Prep team (13 years old and under). We competed in our first season in the Southern Division of the NWBA against teams from North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia. We ended up that first season in second place in the entire division!
In the fall of 2014, we grew with enough players to split into two teams----Varsity (ages 13 to high school graduates) AND Prep (ages 13 years and under). We ended that tough season with the Prep team holding on to second place in the entire division. The first year Varsity team ended up with a very respectable third place in the Southern division and ranked #26 in the entire country!
